Our Families

Jenn’s family recently moved to Georgia and loves being an active part of our life. Papa has built a cradle and Gigi is collecting toys to be kept at their house for grandparent days. They’re especially excited because Aunt Dana is about to adopt a little girl from China. We are excited for our child to have a cousin so close in age that lives nearby.

Grandma and Grandpa Gonyea are also very excited since this will be their first grandchild. They spend their winters in Florida and are looking forward to seeing our child’s face when he or she splashes in the ocean for the first time. Uncle Mark, a children’s book illustrator, can’t wait to write a special book for our child to read at bedtime.

Uncle Chris and his family still live in NY. He, Aunt Stacy, and cousins Ryan and Karissa can't wait for more cousins to come play in the snow, something we don't get very often in Georgia.

We can't forget Grover and Jersey! Grover was one year old when we rescued him at the Atlanta Humane Society. It was meant to be - his furry little face fit the name we had already picked out - Grover! Jersey joined our family one year later when someone had abandoned this cute little 5 week old puppy. We took her in to 'find a good home' but when we got back to the house, Michael said 'You know we're keeping her?' Grover loves to snuggle and Jersey loves to 'talk'.
