A History of Two Friends in Love
We have been head-over-heels in love for more than thirteen years and married for the past nine. Although we are committed to one another through honesty and curiosity about each other and the world, the shared laughter in our lives is the glue that holds us together.
We have supported each other’s return to school in order to pursue family-friendly careers with flexible schedules. Michael owns his own design company so that he is able to work from home during the days our child is on vacation from school. Jenn is a Marriage & Family therapist which allows her the flexibility to take time off when we welcome a child into our home. Together, we can always make sure someone is available to bring our child to dance class, music lessons, baseball practice or anything else they show an interest in pursuing.
Our relationship has always been one of shared responsibility. We feel it is important for both of us to be actively involved in our child’s life.
We fell in love on beautiful Lake Champlain framed between the Adirondack Mountains of Upstate New York and the Green Mountains of Vermont. We have always enjoyed sharing the outdoors and plan to pass this along to our child by hiking with our baby safely held in the carrier on Michael’s back. Since it rarely snows in Georgia, we can’t wait to see our little one’s face light up while making a first snowman when visiting family in New York.
